Make the next step obvious

A guest should be able to tell whether ordering is available for pickup, delivery, or both, and which location is handling the order. Put the approved ordering link near the relevant menu and location information.

Check that the link opens the expected location and menu. Old links in headers, footers, social profiles, and campaign pages can quietly send guests to the wrong place.

Keep the details aligned

Confirm hours, service areas, menu availability, and holiday notes with the people responsible for each location. If the website and ordering provider have separate menus, agree who updates each one and how changes are checked.

On mobile, test the full path from landing page to the provider's menu. A button that is visible but leads to a closed or incorrect storefront is not a useful customer path.

Know where the website stops

A website can organize information and link to an ordering platform. Taking orders, synchronizing menus, processing payments, and POS integrations depend on the provider and need their own technical and commercial review.
